Justin Bieber turns 25!

On March 1st, 1994, a little boy named Justin Drew Bieber was born in London, Canada. 25 years later Justin Bieber has become one of the greatest, if not the greatest pop stars of our time. He is revered and celebrated by millions of fans around the world as if he had a birthday not only today, but every day. Was JB born 25 years ago with microphone and guitar? It wouldn't surprise you to look at his career and his life.

Raised in the small town of London and raised by his mother alone, Justin taught himself how to play some instruments. His idols back then: Chris Brown and Usher. After participating in several talent competitions, it was Justin's mother who posted her son's first videos on YouTube. Music manager Scooter Braun became aware of the young talent in 2008 because of these videos. He contacted Justin's mother and took him to Atlanta to record a demo in a recording studio. During this time Justin first met his idol Usher, with whom he later recorded a remix of his song "Somebody to Love". At the age of 15, Justin had his first record deal in his pocket with Braun. Commenting on her son's rapid development, Mama Bieber told the New York Times 2010 in an interview: "A year later, the baby I was winding played in Madison Square Garden and sang for the President of the United States. It's crazy". And it got even crazier.

500 Million Become 5 Billion, From Teen Singer To Bad Boy

In 2010 Justin released his first album "My World 2.0". The single release "Baby" was the first video on YouTube that was clicked 500 million times. What followed was the first world tour and his second album "Under the Mistletoe". With his first albums and appearances he served the image of the boy with the long hair and the cute pony (they say there's a similar picture of me in the vastness of my hard drive), but in the following time it became 'a bit' wilder around Justin. Every week there was a new headline about JB: trouble with the neighbours, fights in nightclubs, drugs and prostitutes, illegal street races, graffiti, mugshots at the police station, no scandal was left out. And then there was the thing with his little monkey, to which he once said: "If you have as much money as I do, why shouldn't you buy a monkey?

Despite all the side scenes in Justin's life, there was still music. So in 2015 his album "Purpose" came on the market, the single "Where Are U Now" even got a Grammy. With "Despacito" he created a hit with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which was the first video on YouTube to be called over five billion times (!!!).

Back To Earth

After all these years of success, scandals and hustle and bustle, it was time for Justin to grow up. For example, the On Off times with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez are over. He married his model friend Hailey Baldwin in 2018 and called her the love of his life in an interview with Vogue. Instead of thinking about music, he is currently thinking about many other things, such as finding himself. In an interview, he said, "When you're so lost in the music business, you lose sight of it in a way." Unfortunately there has also been confession recently that Justin suffers from depression. But who is surprised? With a star who has known nothing but the public and paparazzi since the age of 13? Maybe there is something to the saying "money alone doesn't make you happy" when you consider that Justin has an estimated fortune of 234 million euros.

You don't have to like Justin Bieber and/or his music. But you should show respect for what the boy from the small town of London in Canada did without a casting show or the help of a company like Walt Disney, as with other children's starts. I saw him at a concert in Hamburg in 2016 and it impressed me and was enthusiastic about what the artist Justin Bieber offered me.

In this sense: Happy Birthday Justin!
