Wilhelmshaven - Packaging, shipping, logistics: future major orders will be tackled jointly with the Wilhelmshaven-based company. First major order was a complete success.
After successfully shipping more than 8,000 parcels within a week together with erka Verpackungssysteme GmbH in February, Born Originals GmbH is now looking forward even more confidently to larger projects with its own fulfillment. "We are delighted to have erka as an extremely competent partner at our side when it comes to larger shipping projects," says Melvin Lamberty, Managing Director of Born Originals GmbH. Miles Lamberty, Managing Director of Erka GmbH and brother of the Born Originals founder, takes the same line: "I think that our years of experience in packaging and our overall know-how make us a good partner for such projects. We are looking forward to upcoming challenges!".
The success comes primarily from the forward-looking approach with which erka Verpackungssysteme GmbH approaches such projects. For example, the company's own packaging line was used for the last major order, including a robot that prepared the shipping pallets with the packages. Thanks to these measures, almost all steps were automated, resulting in enormous time savings. "The past has shown us how flexibly we can react to such volumes and where stumbling blocks lie that are not initially apparent. We will use this experience in the future to provide Born Originals' customers with the best possible logistics service," concluded Miles Lamberty.
